About Me
My name is Sussan N. Oladipo. I am currently an Administrator in the Chicago area. I started teaching in Chicago in 2000 and taught at CPS high school on the North of Chicago. I taught chemistry, Earth space, environmental science for seven years, Algebra (1year) before going into school administration. 
I was a school director for a charter school for one year and have worked at the CPS central office on a grant project. I have also worked at the CPS network office as an instructional support leader for nine CPS schools on the South of Chicago and currently work at my present role. I hold a Bachelor of science in Applied Chemistry, with several credits towards a Masters in applied sciences a Masters of Education in Teaching and Learning and a Doctoral degree in Urban Education Leadership.

Interests

 I enjoy working with teachers/educators and students in an educational setting.  I also love researching on projects independently and working with teams on projects. 
 I enjoy writing, singing in my church choir, cooking, trying new recipes, spending time with my family, hanging out with my friends and professional colleagues. I just started riding my bike called "Bickie"
My life dreams are to run a Marathon, build a charity foundation, visit Jerusalem, Paris, Mexico and take some Chicago inner city students to tour some landmarks in parts of Africa. 

Professional Goals:

I seek to: 

 Create systems to implement strategies that lead to student and teacher broad successes (measurable and non-measurable)
 Build a caring school community that fosters continuous learning through a growth mindset
 Innovate to build capacity, leverage cultural and socio economic diversity towards closing the achievement gap for students

Education
I have a bachelor degree in Applied chemistry and advanced courses in chemistry as well as a Masters in Education in Teaching and Learning and a K-12 Administrative certificate from the university of Illinois in Chicago, a Doctorate degree in Urban Education Leadership from the University of Illinois as well as various advanced courses in applied sciences from university of Ibadan and university of Lagos respectively. I completedThe UrbanSTEM Leadership Fellowship. This is an MSU-Wipro program.
